The D&D Gunworks M40 is our recreation of the original U.S. Marine Corps M40 sniper rifle adopted during the Vietnam War.  Preserving the appearance, handling characteristics, and shooting experience that made the original rifle legendary.

Built for shooters, collectors, historians, and enthusiasts alike, the M40 captures the classic look of the Marine Corps sniper rifle while incorporating modern manufacturing techniques and proven components to deliver outstanding accuracy and reliability.

Every M40 is hand built and tested to ensure it meets the same performance standards expected of a precision rifle. Nothing leaves our shop until it meets our accuracy requirements, and most rifles significantly exceed the traditional 1 MOA standard.

To accommodate different budgets and intended uses, the M40B is available in three configurations:

Standard Model

Our most affordable M40 rifle. Built for shooters seeking the appearance and performance of the original M40 while keeping costs under control.  This has no bedding just like the original M40

Pillar Bedded Model

Features precision-machined pillars installed in the stock to provide more consistent action torque and improved long-term stability. It also has had the recoil lug bedded for additional strength. This option is ideal for shooters who plan to spend significant time on the range and want improved consistency in varying environmental conditions.

Full Glass Bedded Model

Our premium M40 configuration. The action is professionally glass bedded to maximize consistency between the action and stock. This is the option best suited for those that will be using these rifles and exposed to the elements for extended periods of time.
