The D&D Gunworks 1903A4 Bolt Conversion is manufactured from genuine New Old Stock (NOS) U.S. military 1903A3 bolts that have been professionally modified to resemble the appearance of the WWII-era 1903A4 sniper rifle bolt.

Each bolt begins as an authentic military-produced 1903A3 bolt and is converted with the characteristic swept bolt handle profile associated with the 1903A4 sniper rifle. Unlike our finished version, these bolts are intentionally left unfinished after modification, allowing builders, restorers, and gunsmiths to apply their preferred finish and match the bolt to the specific appearance of their project.

This unfinished configuration is ideal for customers planning to blue, parkerize, Cerakote, or otherwise customize the bolt to match an existing rifle build.  It will have some original finish and cold blue to keep it from oxidizing.

While these bolts are produced from original military 1903A3 components, they are not original 1903A4 sniper rifle bolts and should not be represented, sold, or identified as such. These conversions provide the appearance of the historic sniper rifle bolt while preserving the integrity and collectibility of surviving original 1903A4 components.
