These Remington 700 Action Screws are manufactured from durable carbon steel and feature a 3/16″ hex socket drive for secure installation and removal. Designed specifically for use with D&D Gunworks M40A1 and M5 bottom metal systems, these screws provide the strength and clean appearance required for precision rifle builds.

Unlike many factory-length action screws, these screws are intentionally supplied longer than necessary. This allows the builder or gunsmith to trim the threaded portion for an exact fit to their specific rifle, stock, and bottom metal combination. Proper screw length helps ensure reliable action bedding, prevents interference with internal components, and allows for a professional custom fit.

These screws will also fit many standard Remington 700 bottom metal assemblies; however, the socket head design is larger than traditional factory screw heads and may protrude from the bottom metal when used in standard BDL-style trigger guards and floorplates.
