M40A1 Scope Mount for Remington 700 Clone Builds

This M40A1 optics mount is designed for shooters, collectors, and builders creating USMC M40A1 sniper rifle clone rifles. The mount replicates the profile and appearance of the original military optics base used with the Unertl 10x scope system on Marine Corps M40A1 rifles.  The screws have been changed from the original thread patter to 6-48, we did this for several reasons.  6-48 became the standard scope ring screw and we wanted to make to easier on the builder.  The height is slightly higher than originals so allow more optics options and less fitting we never wanted our parts to be passed off as original.  These are a Matte Blue finish.
